 According to Wojnarowski, <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AmOtHud7qZAE3I7GfLGQhwK8vLYF?slug=aw-wojnarowski_kenyon_martin_nba_020212" target="_blank">an affidavit was sent to both the NBA and FIBA</a>, stating Martin was not allowed to play in the NBA until the end of his Chinese team's season. Martin had signed the affidavit as part of his agreement to play in the Chinese Basketball Association. 
 Martin's team, Xinjiang, is on the outside of the CBA playoff picture looking in. Provided they don't rally into the postseason, their season would end Feb. 16. At that time, Martin would be free to sign a free agent contract in the NBA.
