Knicks-Celts: Most-watched Christmas game
Big TV turnout Sunday's Celtics-Knicks opener averaged 5.9 million viewers on TNT, making it the most-watched Christmas Day game in cable TV history and the fourth-highest total for any regular-season game on a cable network.
The game averaged 7.8 percent of homes in Boston, 7.2 in New York and 3.4 nationally.
