GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Carmelo Anthony is feeling great and said he wants to play the Knicks’ final four games, including Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

“I’m good. I’m good,” said Anthony, who sat out Sunday night’s 92-87 loss to the Pacers just to get some rest. “I’ll play Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and probably Tuesday. We’ll see about Tuesday, but I’ll probably play the rest of the games.”

One player who likely won’t be back for Wednesday night’s game is Kristaps Porzingis. The 7-3 rookie had said on Sunday that he was hoping to return before the end of the season. Porzingis, who has a strained right shoulder, did not practice with the team or talk with reporters Tuesday. Interim coach Kurt Rambis said he was doubtful for the game.

Porzingis and Anthony apparently have had some pretty intense conversations while sitting on the bench, including during Sunday night’s game against the Pacers.

“Sometimes throughout the course of the game, it’s a running conversation. Sometimes he has a question: ‘What you think about this, what you think about that?’ ” Anthony said. “I give my input. Obviously he accepts it because he keeps coming back for the advice and the input. I’m more than welcome to sit there and talk to him. What we have is not forced, it’s organic. I try not to force it, he tries not to force it. It just comes naturally.”

No one can say with any certainty how much longer Anthony will be the mentor. While Porzingis is the future of the team, there has been speculation that Anthony may waive his no-trade clause this summer if he decides he doesn’t want to be a part of the Knicks’ rebuild.

Anthony, who will miss the playoffs for the third straight season, said he does feel some sense of accomplishment this season, considering he is coming off knee surgery that sidelined him for a chunk of last season. Anthony, who missed 42 games last season, has missed only nine in 2015-16.

“I feel good. Just to know that I didn’t really know what to expect this year as far as being able to play the whole season and play as many games as I’ve played,” he said. “For the most part I feel good I was able to do that. I actually got better over the last two months. I got stronger.”
