The Knicks played the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night without OG Anunoby, who missed a second straight game because of right elbow inflammation.

Anunoby was a late scratch for Monday's win over Charlotte with the same injury. The Knicks on Tuesday also were missing Julius Randle, who dislocated his shoulder in Saturday's win over the Heat.

Coach Tom Thibodeau did not have a firm timeline on when he expects Anunoby to return but said he was "day-to-day."

The Knicks had won seven in a row before Tuesday's game.

The club also hasn't announced a timetable for Randle’s return, but the early hope is that he will be able to play after the All-Star break. Thibodeau said the Knicks would have a better idea of Randle’s timetable “probably in a day or two. He’s just gathering information right now.”

To help with their thinner frontcourt, the Knicks brought back center/forward Taj Gibson on a 10-day contract.

Gibson, 38, appeared in 10 games for the Knicks earlier this season before being waived on Jan. 7. This is the Thibodeau favorite’s fifth stint with Knicks.

“He happened to be in the backyard,” Thibodeau joked. “So we thought he knows us. We just love having him around. I thought the last time when he was here he was instrument in three wins. So just having a guy that knows our players, knows our system, and is tough, I think that goes a long way.”

Gibson said he was working out in New Jersey on Tuesday morning when he got the call.
