The Chicago Bulls have signed veteran guard and Amiytville native Mike James for the remainder of the season.

This is his fourth stint with the Bulls this season. He is averaging 5.4 points and 3.1 assists in 11.4 minutes per game in eight appearances.

Chicago announced the move on Thursday before a night game against Boston. The Bulls have dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season and point guard Derrick Rose had sat out 11 straight because of a groin injury.
