BEST PLAYERS

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: The true unicorn of the NBA, the "Greek Freak" is long, strong and getting better seemingly every game. With Mike Budenholzer taking over as coach, he could take another step forward. His points per game have gone up at least by 4 every season.

2. Kawhi Leonard, Raptors: Arguably the best all-around player in the game before a right quad injury - or hurt feelings, depending on who you believe - sidelined him for all but nine games last season with the Spurs. Whether he is comfortable in Toronto or showcasing for his next stop, expect a return to form.

3. Joel Embiid, Sixers: In a league bent on eliminating the traditional big man, Embiid is a combination of old-school blocked shots and post play mixed with a soft shooting touch and a wicked sense of humor. If he can stay healthy, paired with Ben Simmons, he justifies the process, but in four years since being drafted he has yet to total 100 games played.

4. Victor Oladipo, Pacers: After shuttling from Orlando to Oklahoma City, Oladipo finally found a home last year as he not only justified the Paul George trade, but made it feel like a steal for the Pacers.

5. Kyrie Irving, Celtics: He left the shadow of LeBron James behind and was the best player on the most complete team in the East until another injury cut last season short. If healthy, he should carry the deep Celtics this time.
