Winning fights at the Paramount is starting to become a habit for Huntington's Chris Algieri. The unbeaten junior welterweight looks to make it three straight on March 31 when he meets  Rochester, New York’s Winston Mathis in the main event.

“We’re very proud to return to The Paramount on March 31st. The Long Island fans have been extremely supportive of our first two events with both shows selling out and Chris is excited to fight in front of his hometown fans again,” said promoter Joe DeGuardia, President of Star Boxing.

Algieri, 13-0 with six knockouts, is coming off a dominant performance on January 28th, taking a unanimous decision over Atlanta’s Curtis Smith.

Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin, from Dix Hills, will meet Rochester’s Marcus Hall, 5-4-1 (2 KO’s) in a scheduled six round welterweight fight.  The 25-year-old Seldin is 6-0 with five knockouts. Also on the card will be unbeaten New Hyde Park prospect Richie Neves.
