Floyd Mayweather continues to push the envelope, even on cable television.

There often is as much sexual innuendo as there is boxing on these "All Access" shows. In each episode, Mayweather likes to flaunt the numerous young women who hang around his home. This week, they decided to have a pot party. Nonetheless, on September 13, Mayweather puts his welterweight and junior middleweight title on the line in a rematch against Marcos Maidana. Wonder if second-hand smoke actually has ever caused a positive drug test?

Best spoken line, Floyd Mayweather: "Once you put that check in my face and I see the right number of zeros, I am going to be a perfectionist."

Best spoken line, Floyd Mayweather, part 2: "Everybody looks good in the gym, I look good under the lights when it counts."

Best spoken line, Marcos Maidana, "Sometimes when I say goodbye, it hurts a little bit. Being with the family is almost like I have to soften my heart a little bit. Being alone, I don't have to. I toughen up."

Training days: Can't get much better sparring for Maidana than undefeated world champion Mikey Garcia. That's a tremendous asset for Maidana.

Best written line: "For the fighter, training involves a series of depravations - physical and emotional. The food he likes and the family he loves. It leaves him leaner and stronger for the ring."

Best supporting cast: Warren Buffet chatting it up with Mayweather in the dressing room of the gym.

Scenic view: Lightning strikes on the Las Vegas strip.

More thoughts:

-- Laughable that Floyd apparently blocks two lanes of traffic for his midnight runs and those members of his entourage who follow on bikes and in cars.

-- Nice showing by Fabian Maidana in his second pro fight.

-- The action at Mayweather's Gym - young fighters sparring for "30-minute" rounds while spectators bet on the action - is bad for the sport and bad for the development of the young fighters. The sequence between the British fighter sparring consecutive matches with two of Hasim Rahman's sons was terrible. Heated sparring sessions and competitiveness among gym mates are legendary throughout the history of the sport. What "All Access" televised was a sideshow simply for the entertainment of Mayweather and the ample entourage at the gym.

-- Tough night for Mayweather prospect J'Leon Love, who saw his 18-fight unbeaten streak come to an end. Mayweather was extremely supportive after the loss, even to the point of not allowing "All Access" to show the knockout. He should be that supportive and protective of the young fighters in his gym.

-- There really isn't much that can be said about this scene other than to state what happened. Mayweather sat among his female entourage as they danced and smoked marijuana in his home. He then ordered a friend to go out and purchase more rolling paper. According to the narrator, Floyd does not partake.
