Oscar de la Hoya is going hi-tech.
Here's some information on how de la Hoya's Golden Boy promotions is teaming up with AT&T to bring boxing to consumers through three different mediums.
Tonight's "Sabados De Corona" card (featuring Mexico City's Oscar Blanquet and Panama's Ricardo Nunez in WBA flyweight eliminator) is being presented by Golden Boy and Canelo Promotions. But here's the cool part:
AT&T is exclusively delivering the card across three platforms - television, online and mobile - to AT&T U-verse members. The fights are available to AT&T U-verse subscribers on U-verse TV, U-verse Online (www.att.net/boxeo ) and for subscribers to the U-verse Live TV mobile application (on qualifying mobile phones.)
The fights are available in both English and Spanish.
The broadcast on Saturday begins at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by Televisa in Mexico and on AT&T U-verse in the U.S.
