Marcos Maidana to battle Adrien Broner

The last time Marcos Maidana (34-2) tasted to defeat, it was to Devon Alexander on February 2, 2012. Since then, the native of Margarita, Santa Fe, Argentina, has won three straight. His latest win was a sixth-round TKO of Josesito Lopez at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Ca.
Now he gets the young, brash WBA welterweight champion in Adrien Broner (27-0) on Saturday, Dec. 14 live on Showtime at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
