Report: Manny Pacquiao treated for stomach ailment
Manny Pacquiao was admitted to a hospital to treat a stomach ulcer Sunday, according to published reports.
Pacquiao's chief of staff Jayke Joson told the Associated Press that Pacquiao's doctors found an ulcer during a checkup on Sunday.
Pacquiao recently won a seat in the House of Representatives in the Phillippines.
"Really, Manny can only rest if you confine him to a hospital," Joson said to the AP. "It's been so intense a campaign, he missed some of his meals."
Talks between Top Rank and Mayweather Promotions for a megafight between Pacquiao and Mayweather are expected to begin soon.
