Sadam Ali set to fight in Newark
The worldwide tour of Brooklyn resident Sadam Ali is about to come full circle.
The 21-year-old 2008 Olympian will take on fellow Brooklyn welterweight Jason Thompson in a four-round bout on February 6 at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Tomasz Adamek and Jason Estrada will headline the “Heavy Artillery” card.
Local product Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin will also be on the card.
A two-time National Golden Gloves champion, Ali (4-0, 2 KOs) turned pro last year, stopping Ricky Thompson in the first round.
