Showtime and Golden Boy Promotions have teamed up and will present “Night of the Olympians" on Friday November 9 at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Ca.

2008 Olympian Gary Russell Jr. (20-0, 12 KOs) will square off against Vyacheslav Gusev (20-2, 5 KOs) in a 10-round featherweight bout in the ShoBox: The Next Generation main event, beginning at 11:00 p.m.

In addition five of America’s 2012 Olympians –Dominic Breazeale, Marcus Browne (pictured left), Terrell Gausha, Errol Spencer, Rau’shee Warren– will make their professional debuts.

“We are proud to showcase these young fighters as they begin their journey from prospects to contender,” said Gordon Hall, executive producer ShoBox and Vice President of Production, Showtime Sports. “With an Olympian turned prospect and now moving toward contender status in Gary Russell, Jr., these Olympians need look no further than the main event to see the path that they must take.”

The opponents for the five Olympians will be announced at a later date.
