Cole leaves Dowling for Iona
On Friday, Iona College announced Rick Cole Jr. will take over as the school's newest athletic director. Cole previously served as athletic director for Long Island-based Dowling College, and as an assistant athletic director at St. John's University. (April 12, 2013) Credit: Iona College
Dowling’s Rick Cole Jr. was named athletic director at Iona, college president Joseph E. Nyre announced.
Cole, who spent eight years as Dowling’s athletic director, was instrumental in the development of Dowling’s $12.5-million athletic complex at its Brookhaven campus.
Cole held previous positions at St. John’s and Stony Brook.
