Baylor the new No.1 in women's hoops

It had to happen. The Connecticut women's team is no longer the No.1 team in the land.  The Huskies dropped one place to No.2 in the latest AP top 25 women's poll. Baylor took over the top spot with 23 first-place votes. Connecticut is No.2, but still received 14 first-place votes. Duke was No.3 with one first-place vote, while Stanford, which halted UConn's streak at 90 straight games, is fourth and received two first-place votes.

Locally, St. John's dropped one place to 18th.
