Dartmouth beats Marist 69-62 in its season opener

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Cameron McNamee scored 12 points as Dartmouth beat Marist 69-62 Monday in the Big Green’s first game of the season.

McNamee also added six rebounds for the Big Green. Anton Strelnikov shot 4 for 6 from the field and 3 for 5 from the line to add 12 points. Cam Hiatt shot 4 for 6 from the field, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 11 points.

Myles Parker finished with 13 points for the Red Foxes. Marist also got 13 points, four assists and two steals from Jadin Collins. Dywane Chess finished with eight points.
