Indiana junior guard Devonte Green, a former Long Island Lutheran standout and youngest brother of the Raptors’ Danny Green, has been suspended indefinitely, the team announced Tuesday night.

“Indiana University junior Devonte Green, a member of the men’s basketball team, has been suspended from game competition for not meeting the standards expected of members of the program,” the statement said. “There will be no further comment on the matter at this time.”

Green, a three-time All-Long Island selection and two-time Newsday Player of the Year in 2014 as a sophomore and 2016 as a senior, was averaging 8.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 24.5 minutes per game this season, including five starts. He last appeared in a game January 19.
