Division I coaching changes
Here’s an updated list of all Division I coaching changes. There were 45 in all, with the highest profile changes taking place at Illinois, Kansas State, LSU and South Carolina. There is also Larry Brown taking over at SMU, Rick Pitino’s son Richard taking over at Florida International, Jim Ferry (pictured) leaving LIU for Duquesne and Nebraska hiring Tim Miles.
Jim Baron was fired by Rhode Island, but landed at Canisius, while Danny Hurley bolted Wagner for Rhode Island. Bashir Mason took over for Hurley at Wagner. Larry Eustachy departed Southern Mississippi for Colorado State, while Jack Perri took over for Ferry at LIU. Former Kansas All-American and NBA veteran Danny Manning is the new head man in charge at Tulsa.
