Ex Michigan star Robinson gets 6 1/2 years
Talk about falling from grace.
It was 21 years ago when Rumeal Robinson hit two big free throws with three seconds to lift the Michigan Wolverines to a victory over Seton Hall in the NCAA national championship game.
Now he'll be hitting free throws in a prison courtyard.
Robinson was sentenced to 6 1/2 years after being found guilty on 11 charges, including wire fraud and bank bribery. Robinson was found guilty guilty by a jury in September.
Robinson scammed over $700,000 from a bank in Ankeny, Iowa.
Robinson played six seasons in the NBA for the Hawks, Nets, Hornets, Lakers, Trailblazers and Suns.
