Baylor coach Kim Mulkey is running out of superlatives to describe 6-8 center Brittney Griner.

Griner had 31 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks to lift No. 3 Baylor (31-2) to a 61-58 victory yesterday over No. 8 Texas A&M for the Big 12 Tournament title in Kansas City, Mo. Griner's points and blocks were Big 12 championship game records. She also scored 20 consecutive points.

"If anybody has another adjective [for Griner], let me know," Mulkey said.

The Aggies' Danielle Adams, the conference leading scorer at 23 points per game, was held to 12 points and 4-for-19 shooting for the Aggies (27-5).

Stanford 64, UCLA 55: Freshman Toni Kokenis scored 10 of her career-high 17 points in the final 5:17 to rally No. 2 Stanford (29-2), down 11 points early in the second half, past No. 7 UCLA for the Pac-10 championship in Los Angeles.

Navy 47, American 40: Jade Geif had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and host Navy (20-11) rallied in the Patriot League title game for its first trip to the women's NCAA Tournament.

Utah 52, TCU 47: Freshman Michelle Plouffe scored eight of her 24 points in overtime, sparking Utah (18-16) in the Mountain West final in Las Vegas.

Fresno State 78, La. Tech 76: Bree Farley hit a turnaround with less than a second left and Jaleesa Ross scored 17 of her 23 points in the second half for Fresno State (25-7) in the WAC final in Las Vegas.

Bowling Green 51, E. Michigan 46: Lauren Prochaska scored 20 points as BGSU (28-4) overcame 24-percent shooting to win the Mid-American Conference title in Cleveland.

UC Davis 66, Cal Poly 49: Paige Mintun scored 20 points and UC Davis (24-8) held off a second-half charge in the Big West final in Anaheim, Calif.

Hampton 61, Howard 42: Quanneisha Perry, Jerika Jenkins and Melanie Warner scored 13 points apiece and Hampton (25-6) pulled away in the second half in MEAC final in Winston-Salem, N.C.-- AP
