Hofstra will host Harvard Thursday in the Women's NIT, with the winner facing Temple/ Quinnipiac in the second round.

Hofstra (19-11) -- which beat three teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament (St. John's, Kansas State and Marist) -- earned the fourth postseason bid in the program's Division I history (since 1982-83) and is seeking its fourth 20-win season at the Division I level.

The Pride is led by Shante Evans (19.0 points, 10.4 rebounds). Candice Bellocchio averaged 6.1 assists per game. Christine Clark led Harvard (17-11) at 15.2 points per game.

Hofstra previously earned trips to the WNIT in 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2009-10. The Pride won at least one game in each of those trips, reaching the quarterfinals two seasons ago.
