The long-awaited debut of Josh Selby was well worth it as the freshman nailed the go-ahead three with 26 seconds left to lift No.3 Kansas to a 70-68 win over USC.

Selby had 21 points for Kansas, which improved to 10-0.

Selby was forced to sit out his first nine games by the NCAA receiving improper benefits.

With Duke freshman Kyrie Irving out with a foot injury and North Carolina rookie Harrison Barnes struggling, Selby could still emerge as the top freshman in the country at season's end.
