Kentucky continues its march in SEC

Anthony Davis had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 1 Kentucky erased a five-point deficit with a 14-0 second-half spurt to beat No. 22 Florida, 74-71, Saturday in the SEC semifinals in New Orleans. Terrence Jones had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats (32-1).

Vanderbilt 65, Mississippi 53: John Jenkins scored 23 points and Brad Tinsley hit two three-pointers during a late 8-0 run in the other SEC semifinal. Vanderbilt is 23-10.

Missouri 90, Baylor 75: Kim English had 19 points as the No. 5 Tigers (30-4) pulled away in the Big 12 title game in Kansas City, Mo.

New Mexico 68, San Diego St. 59: Tournament MVP Drew Gordon had 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Lobos (27-6) overpowered No. 18 San Diego State (26-7) in the Mountain West final in Las Vegas.

Colorado 53, Arizona 51: Freshman Spencer Dinwiddie scored 14 points and Pac-12 newcomer Colorado (23-11) opened the second half with an 18-8 run in the final in Los Angeles.

Memphis 83, Marshall 57: Joe Jackson had 19 points and Will Barton 18 points and 13 rebounds for host Memphis (26-8) in the Conference USA final.

Long Beach State 77, UC-Santa Barbara 64: Casper Ware scored 33 points for Long Beach (25-8) in the Big West final in Anaheim.

Lamar 70, McNeese State 49: Mike James scored 26 points and Lamar (23-11) took control with a 20-9 second-half run in the Southland Conference final in Katy, Texas.

Ohio 64, Akron 63: D.J. Cooper scored 23 points and the Bobcats (27-7) had to wait out a video review on a tip-in by Akron with 3.1 seconds left in the Mid-American Conference final in Cleveland.

Mississippi Valley St. 71, Texas Southern 69: Kevin Burwell scored 19 points and Mississippi Valley (21-12) almost squandered a 20-point lead in the SWAC final in Garland, Texas.

Norfolk St. 73, Bethune-Cookman 70: Kyle O'Quinn scored 18 points as Norfolk State (25-9) survived O'Quinn's traveling violation with 16.9 seconds left in the MEAC final in Winston-Salem, N.C.-- AP
