The madness has begun.
The 2018 NCAA men’s basketball season is reaching its end as teams around the nation look to secure a spot in the tournament.
Here are the teams who have guaranteed their spot in the NCAA touranment as automatic qualifiers by winning their conference’s tournament.
ACC: Virginia (31-2), 22nd appearance, first bid since 2017
America East: UMBC (24-10), second appearance, first bid since 2008
Atlantic Sun: Lipscomb (23-9), first appearance
Big 12: Kansas (27-7), 47th appearance, first bid since 2017
Big East: Villanova (30-4), 38th appearance, first bid since 2017
Big Sky: Montana (26-7), 11th appearance, first bid since 2013
Big South: Radford (22-12), third appearance, first bid since 2009
Big Ten: Michigan (28-7), 28th appearance, first bid since 2017
CAA: Charleston (26-7), fifth appearance, first bid since 1999
C-USA: Marshall (24-10), sixth appearance, first bid since 1987
Horizon: Wright State (25-9), third appearance, first bid since 2007
MAC: Buffalo (26-8), third appearance, first bid since 2016
