Iona stayed at the top of the men’s Metro Area poll this week, followed by a hot Seton Hall team. St. John’s managed to slide into the third despite losing three straight. Wagner, which has won four of five, is No.4, while LIU comes in at No.5. Yes, Wagner recently lost to LIU, but the voters have spoken. Stony Brook, despite its 2-4 start, got enough votes to land at No.9. Besides St. John’s, the Seawolves may have had the toughest early-season schedule. Hofstra dropped out of the poll.
