Metro Area Poll: Seton Hall No. 1

We have a new No. 1 this week. Seton Hall, which has won five straight, including knocking off Auburn and Wake Forest, has established itself as a real player in the region. The Pirates also knocked off an improving St. Joseph’s team in November.
Iona dropped one place to No.2, while Columbia vaulted seven places to third in the poll. Manhattan, after dropping Fordham, moved up three spots to fourth and LIU dropped two places to seventh. Princeton comes into the poll at ninth, while Sacred Heart dropped two places to 10th. St. John’s tumbled five places to No.8.
Stony Brook and Rutgers dropped out of the poll.
