Michigan State's Chris Allen suspended indefinitely

Michigan State guard junior guard Chris Allen has been suspended indefinitely by Spartans coach Tom Izzo.

He'll miss at least Michigan State's Big Ten opener.

Allen, the Spartans' fifth-leading scorer at 9.1 points per game, was suspended for not meeting responsibilites to his teammates, Izzo told reporters on Tuesday.

The third-seeded Spartans (24-7, 14-4 Big Ten) will take on the winner of Minnesota-Penn State on Friday.
