Sometimes it takes luck. Sometimes it takes skill. In Kemba Walker's case, he had a little of both. But he also benefitted from the fact that the referees were asleep at the wheel.

With the score tied at 77 in overtime and 2:15 left, the shot clock showed two seconds to go, for Connecticut. The Huskies avoided a shot clock violation as Walker drained an off-balance, one-handed three from about 35 feet. Replays showed the shot came after the shot clock buzzer sounded. But the referees, for whatever reason, didn't review the play.

Eighth-ranked Uconn (12-2) prevailed, 82-81, in overtime over No.12 Texas (12-3).
