Mississippi State bans players from Twitter
We knew this was going to happen at some point.
Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury banned his players from using Twitter after several posted critical posts after a bad 75-61 loss to Alabama on Wednesday.
According to a report in the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, Ravern Johnson posted: "starting to see why people Transfer you can play the minutes but not getting your talents shown because u watching someone else wit the ball the whole game."
It's been a hectic year for Mississippi State. Sophomore forward Renardo Sidney, who also made critical comments on Twitter, was suspended by Stansbury earlier this season for getting into a fight with former teammate Elgin Bailey during a game.
Sidney had been suspended three times this season. Bailey announced he was transferring after the incident.
