College basketball coaches can now talk to prospective recruits at basketball camps and clinics on their own campus, the NCAA's Legislative Council announced on Tuesday.

In effect, coaches can now chat with players they are recruiting. In years prior, coaches had to avoid any contact with players at their own camps.

It's a ruling that was a longtime coming for many coaches, since it was extremely difficult to enforce.
