C.W. Post pulled off a double-double Sunday as the men's and women's basketball teams won their conference tournaments.

Vaughn Allen had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks and Tobin Carberry hit two free throws with less than two seconds left to clinch the men's 68-64 win over host and No. 1 seed Bridgeport in the ECC men's tournament final.

The Post women's team took home the title as Janea Aiken scored 23 points, including a jumper with 11 seconds left and two free throws with one second left in a 69-66 victory over host Bridgeport.

For the men, Billy Butler had 14 points and six assists as No. 2 seed Post (21-9) will get the ECC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the third time in four years, but the first for coach Chris Casey. Josh Martin had 15 points for Bridgeport (19-9).

The No. 4 seed Post women (17-12) won the title for the first time since 2001. Kelly Keil scored 27 points to lead No. 3 seed Bridgeport (17-14).
