The Register-Guard reported that Oregon coach Ernie Kent will be followed when the Ducks are eliminated from the PAC-10 Tournament.

Speculation has been circulating for months that Kent, Oregon's winningest coach, will be let go at season's end.

Citing a player on the team, Kent told the team on Sunday of his job status. The Ducks are 15-15 currently after going 8-23 last year.

The Oregonian reported that P.J. Carlesimo is on the short list to replace Kent.
