Schicher leads Dowling's romp past NYIT

Sarah Schicher (18 points, nine rebounds) was one of four players to score in double figures as Dowling defeated NYIT, 75-53, in ECC women's basketball.

Connie Simmons had 14 points, Christine Verrelle had 12 points and Julia Koppl chipped in 10 points for Dowling (12-3, 5-0). NYIT is 9-6, 3-2.

LIU Post 80, Molloy 51: Chelsea Williams had 12 points and four rebounds for LIU Post (12-5, 4-2 ECC). Molloy is 7-9, 3-3.

Boston University 69, Stony Brook 34: Sam Landers had eight points for Stony Brook (4-14, 1-4). Boston U is 11-6, 4-0.

Suffolk CC 73, Bunker Hill CC 34: Colleen Walker had 17 points and Kara Nenos added 13 points to lead Suffolk CC (2-3, 1-2 Region XV).

Franklin Pierce 95, Adelphi 55: Kelly Mannix and Jessica Kitrys had 10 points each for Adephi (6-9, 4-7 NE-10) in Northeast-10. Franklin Pierce is 11-4, 8-3.

Farmingdale State 62, Sage 46: Jeanette Zubizarreta scored 17 points for Farmingdale State (6-6, 5-0) in Skyline. Sage is 6-8, 2-4.

MEN'S BASKETBALL LIU Brooklyn 106, Monmouth 86: Junior Julian Boyd had a career-high 28 points and added eight rebounds for LIU Brooklyn (12-6, 6-0 NEC). Monmouth is 3-16, 1-5.

Nassau CC 86, Manhattan CC 63:Darren Dove had 25 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal to lead Nassau CC (12-6, 8-4) in Region XV.LIU Post 70, Molloy 48: Stefan Bonneau had 18 points and Vaughn Allen and Tobin Carberry chipped in 11 points each for LIU Post (11-4, 5-0 ECC). Jimmy Nolan had 17 points for Molloy (5-11, 2-4).
