Skidmore tops Southern Vermont in 7OTs: They just kept going and going and going...

Skidmore topped Southern Vermont in the longest game in NCAA Division III history, 128-123, on Wednesday.

It was a seven overtime thriller. It matched the longest game ever on any level -Cincinnati beat Bradley in seven overtimes in 1981 and in Division II Black Hills beat Yankton in seven OTs in 1956.

John Mantas had 27 points in 59 minutes, while Gerard O'Shea had 20 points in 66 minutes.

Southern Vermont's Lance Spratling played all 75 minutes and finished with 31 points on 10-for-40 shooting.

ESPN is going to air the game around 9:50 am Thanksgiving morning.
