St. John's inks several in early signing period
St. John's got an early jump on things as Steve Lavin announced the signing of four recruits, three freshman and a junior college transfer.
Queens native Maurice Harkless, ranked among the nation's top 50 recruits, signed a national letter of intent, along with D'Angelo Harrison out of Sugar Land, Texas, Jakarr Sampson (Akron, OH) and highly-touted junior college point guard Nurideen Lindsey. Lindsay, a Philadelphia Native who played his JUCO ball at Redlands CC, will have three years of eligibility.
