The chance to put high-profile coaching hire Steve Lavin on display probably helped St. John's gain some national exposure as part of ESPN's "Big Monday" schedule of Big East basketball telecasts, the school announced on Thursday. St. John's game against Georgetown on Jan. 3 at Madison Square Garden made the lineup of games in a slot on ESPN2.

Previously, the Red Storm landed one of the games televised as part of ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. They visit the St. Mary's Gaels for a game that begins at 2 a.m. ET on Nov. 16.

All "Big Monday" games will be simulcast on ESPN3.com, which is ESPN's video Internet service. Here's the full schedule of "Big Monday" telecasts (all times ET):
