St. John's pours it on

     Notre Dame did make a mini-run early in the second half, enough to get its fans singing, "Let's Go Irish!" But after  Ben Hansbrough's fast break jam cut the Storm's lead to 37-31, DJ Kennedy made a 3-pointer that began a 14-5 run.

Kennedy just made another three, to make it 53-36. Good solid, hustling, defensive effort by St. John's. Shows that the team didn't lose confidence or steam after a couple bad games.
