St. John's-Syracuse Halftime stats

     Syracuse is shooting better than 50 percent (14 for 27) as opposed to the Red Storm's 10-for-29. The Orange had been concerned about rebounding, but it holds the edge there, too, 17-16. Kris Joseph or Syracuse is the top scorer with 9, Dwight Hardy has 8 for St. John's. Consecutive three's late in the half lkept it respectable.
