West Virginia's Bryant will miss remainder of Tournament
West Virginia's hopes for a Final Four appearance took a major blow when it was discovered that starting point guard Darryl "Truck" Bryant had a broken right foot.
ESPN first reported the story on Tuesday.
Bryant will miss the rest of the tournament. Junior Joe Mazzulla will replace Bryant in the starting lineup. The second-seeded Mountaineers will take on No.11 Washington in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night at the Carrier Dome.
Bryant is third signifiant player who has missed or miss games in the tournament.
Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas will miss the rest NCAA tournament because of what coach Tom Izzo said is likely a torn ACL. Syracuse center Arinze Onuaku missed the Orange's first and second-round games.
