Former Hansen Award winner Jordan Gowins transferring from Boston College

Former St. Anthony's halfback Jordan Gowins, the 2013 Hansen Award winner in his junior year, tweeted on Monday that he will be leaving Boston College. Gowins wrote on his Twitter account, "After much thought and prayer, I have decided to transfer from Boston College. I thank BC for the opportunity & I thank God for guiding me."
Gowins had 15 carries for 43 yards as a true freshman this season. The Eagles have a logjam at running back and Gowins is the third player this fall to announce his intention to transfer.
