Punt return spurs LSU

Odell Beckham's 8-yard punt return for a touchdown tied the game at 35, and Jeremy Hill scored his third touchdown with 15 seconds left as No. 7 LSU (9-2, 5-2 SEC) came back to top Mississippi, 41-35, Saturday in Baton Rouge. Ole Miss' Bo Wallace passed for 310 yards and two TDs, and ran for two scores, but he was picked off three times.

UCLA clinches division

Brett Hundley passed for 234 yards and a touchdown and rushed for two more scores as No. 17 UCLA beat No. 18 USC, 38-28, in Pasadena after grabbing a 24-0 lead midway through the second quarter, clinching the Pac-12 South title.

Ball gets 78th TD

Montee Ball scored his 78th touchdown, tying Travis Prentice's major-college record for career TDs, during host Wisconsin's 21-14 overtime loss to Ohio State (11-0). Ball nearly broke the record but fumbled at the goal line with 2:46 left. Carlos Hyde scored on a 2-yard run in OT.

Sooners rally

Landry Jones threw for 554 yards and six touchdowns, including a 5-yarder to Kenny Stills with 24 seconds left, to lift No. 12 Oklahoma (8-2, 6-1 Big 12) to a frantic 50-49 win over host West Virginia. Tavon Austin rushed for a school-record 344 yards and Stedman Bailey had four TD catches for the Mountaineers (5-5, 2-5).

Orange bowl eligible

Ryan Nassib threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Alec Lemon with 20 seconds to go, capping a 21-point fourth quarter as Syracuse (6-5) spoiled Missouri's home finale with a 31-27 victory.

Harvard over Yale again

Harvard quarterback Colton Chapple scrambled 18 yards for one touchdown and had a 61-yard run to set up another to lead the host Crimson (8-2, 5-2 Ivy) to a 34-24 victory over Yale and their sixth consecutive victory in The Game.-- AP
