Kenjon Barner rushed for a school-record 321 yards and five touchdowns, Marcus Mariota threw four TD passes, and No. 4 Oregon (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12) rolled up 730 yards in a 62-51 victory over host No. 17 Southern California last night. Matt Barkley passed for 484 yards and four touchdowns for the Trojans (6-3, 4-3), who have lost two straight.

Oregon's 730 yards and 62 points were the most ever allowed by USC, which began playing football in 1888.

Gators eke one out

Mike Gillislee took a screen pass and went 45 yards for the winning touchdown early in the fourth quarter, and host No. 7 Florida (8-1, 7-1 SEC) rebounded from a turnover-filled loss to Georgia with a narrow 14-7 victory over Missouri.

Sooners right the ship

Landry Jones threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns and Brennan Clay ran for a career-high 157 yards as No. 12 Oklahoma (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) beat host Iowa State, 35-20, to bounce back after a loss to Notre Dame.

Texas trips Tech

David Ash threw for three touchdowns and 264 yards to lead No. 23 Texas to a 31-22 victory against No. 18 Texas Tech in Lubbock. Mike Davis had a career-high 165 yards and a career-best two touchdowns on four catches, one a 75-yarder from Ash in the second quarter for the Longhorns (7-2, 4-2 Big 12). Tech is 6-3, 3-3.

A&M rolls on road

Redshirt freshman Johnny Manziel picked apart No. 15 Mississippi State by completing 30 of 36 passes for 311 yards and running for 129 yards and two touchdowns in No. 16 Texas A&M's 38-13 victory in Starkville, Miss. Ryan Swope caught nine passes for 121 yards for the Aggies (7-2, 4-2 SEC) . . . Marlin Lane rushed for a tiebreaking 9-yard touchdown with 1:25 left as host Tennessee had to rally to edge Troy, 55-48, in a game that featured 1,439 combined yards in total offense.-- AP
