NFLReinstated Stallworth
released by Browns
The Browns released wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, who was suspended for the 2009 season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after he pleaded guilty to killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in Florida. He spent 24 days in jail.
Goodell said Friday that Stallworth would be reinstated after the Super Bowl.

Canadiens' GM job
Bob Gainey is stepping aside as general manager of the Montreal Canadiens and will be replaced by his assistant, Pierre Gauthier, according to team president Pierre Boivin. Boivin said Gainey will remain with the team as a special counsel to Gauthier.
