Patrycja Klekotka had nine kills and four aces as Dowling topped Clarion University, 3-0, in an NCAA Division II women's volleyball quarterfinal in Louisville yesterday.

Dowling (31-1) advances to the Division II Final Four for the first time tomorrow at 3 p.m., where it will face three-time defending champion Concordia University-St. Paul.

Maja Potpara added seven kills, 18 assists and nine digs for Dowling (31-1), which swept Clarion (32-5), 25-3, 25-17, 25-18.

This is the first time an East Regional Division II volleyball team has advanced to the national semifinal, Dowling sports information director Brian Scios told Newsday last night.
