Leading the way for the Gamecocks is dynamic RB Marcus Lattimore. Lattimore’s 2011 season ended prematurely due to a knee injury, but he’s ready to be the main man again for Spurrier. Lattimore ran for 818 yards and 10 touchdowns last year, despite missing the final six games. The Gamecocks are primed for a big season, but could experience a few hiccups along the way because of a suspect defense. They'll start slow against Vandy, but should be coasting by the fourth quarter.
