Florida State vacate 12 football victories
Florida State announced on Sunday afternoon that it will comply with NCAA sanctions over a cheating scandal.
Here is the Tallahassee Democrat story.
Fourteen teams will have wins vacated. Most notably, Florida State's football team will lose five wins from the 2006-07 season (four regular-season wins and the Emerald Bowl win) and seven regular-season wins from the 2007-08 season.
Bobby Bowden, who retired after Florida State beat West Virginia in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1, now has 377 career victories, still second to Penn State's Joe Paterno.
