Naiah Ackerman went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs to lead the Stony Brook softball team to a 10-1 five-inning conference win at home, extending their win streak to 15 games on Saturday. Catherine Anne Kupinski went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

LIU splits doubleheader. Lindsey Cowans went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs for a 4-3 win in the first game of a conference doubleheader at home for LIU. Lily Hinkle, Emma Niece and Jazmine Cuffie each hit a double. LIU (24-17) fell 7-3 in the second game. Sacred Heart is 20-24.

Adelphi wins two. Zee Zee Shreter went 3-for-4 with an RBI in a 3-0 win in the first game of a non-conference home doubleheader for Adelphi. In the 6-3 second game, Jaden Farhat went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Adelphi is 24-16 and Caldwell is 20-20.

MEN’S LACROSSE

Fairfield 11, Stony Brook 10: Dylan Pallonetti and Jack Dougherty each had two goals and one assist in a road conference loss for Stony Brook (4-9). Fairfield is 7-6.

Georgetown 20, St. John’s 6: Caiden Vlasimski and Brian Kelly each had two goals in a home loss for St. John’s (4-10). Georgetown is 9-3.

Hofstra 21, Hampton 5: Kane Gerard had four goals and two assists in a home conference win for Hofstra (5-9). Justin Skyes and John Madsen each had three goals and Anthony Mollica had three goals and one assist. Hampton is 0-12.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

LIU 20, Central Connecticut State 3: Olivia Fantigrossi scored six goals and Julia Trainor had four goals and one assist in a road conference win for LIU (8-7). Erin Harkins had three goals and two assists. CCSU is 2-12.

Adelphi 19, Franklin Pierce 6: Danielle Marino had four goals and three assists and Marielle Collalillo had three goals and two assists in a conference win at home for Adelphi (12-2). Franklin Pierce is 4-10.

Molloy 19, District of Columbia 2: Victoria Bustamante had four goals and two assists and Megan Rugolo had three goals and one assist on the road for Molloy (7-7). DC is 1-11.

BASEBALL

LIU 10, Stonehill 1: Carlton Harper went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a conference win at home for LIU (16-17). Stonehill is 10-20.

Adelphi takes both. Joe Pellegrino went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in a 3-2 win in the first game of a doubleheader at home for Adelphi. Michael Robinson went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a home run and three RBIs. In the second game, a 7-5 win, Pellegrino went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two doubles. Adelphi is 19-16.
