Jamie Lincoln and Jay Card each scored three goals as eighth-ranked Hofstra cruised in an 11-3 win over host St. Joseph's (Pa.) Saturday in CAA men's lacrosse.

Kevin Ford had two goals and an assist, Ian Braddish had four assists, Steven DeNapoli had a goal and five ground balls, and Andrew Gvozden made seven saves for the Pride (10-1, 3-1). The win was Hofstra's fifth straight.

The Hawks went ahead 1-0 on Scott Cullinan's goal with 8:44 left in the first quarter, but DeNapoli answered with 3:24 left in the quarter, and the Pride went on to score 11 straight. Card's goal, off a pass from Mike DeNapoli, gave them an 11-1 lead with 7:51 left.

Hofstra won 13 of 18 faceoffs and outshot St. Joseph's 35-20. Cullinan had a goal and an assist for the Hawks (0-9, 0-4).

Hofstra will visit Fairfield at 1 p.m. Saturday.
