Men’s Lacrosse

NYIT 16, Roberts Wesleyan 13: LeRoy Halftown scored six goals to lead NYIT (4-4 overall, 1-0 conference) in an East Coast Conference opener. Matt Chanenchuk added three goals and four assists for the Bears. Andrew Zito, who recorded two goals and two assists, scored his second goal with 3:04 remaining to give NYIT a 15-13 lead.

District of Columbia 14, Molloy 9: Nick Delgiorno and Kevin Pastier had two goals apiece for Molloy (2-3 overall, 0-1 conference) in an ECC opener. Delgiorno also added two assists. Goalkeeper Ryan Toomey had 17 saves for the Lions. LaRon Hinton led District of Columbia with four goals and one assist.

Adelphi 15, St. Anselm 8: Dylan Crossan had two goals and six assists and Ian Kirby had four goals and an assist to lead Adelphi (3-1 overall, 2-0 conference) in the Northeast-10. Michael Osmundsen added two goals and two assists and Nicolas Racalbuto scored three goals.

Women’s Lacrosse

Adelphi 17, Southern New Hampshire 4: Kole Pollock, Michele Scannell and Beth Ann Pierce each scored three goals to lead Adelphi (4-0 conference, 5-1 overall) in the Northeast-10. Alison Johnson and Christina Ferrara each added three assists. Allison Stackpole had four points (two goals and two assists).

USMMA 17, Sage 1: Meredith Willard had 11 points (seven goals and four assists) to lead USMMA (3-1 overall) in non-conference. Jessica Reilly added five goals. Hannah Gizzi had five saves in the win.

Molloy 23, UDC 3: Casie Caiazza had three goals and five assists and Michaela Siegler had three goals and four assists to lead Molloy (3-3 overall, 1-0 conference) in an ECC opener. Jessica Markowitz and Brianna WIlson added three goals apiece and Ali Pfeifer had two goals and four assists in the win.

Hartwick 16, St. Joseph’s (L.I.) 13: Kristi Carroll had six points (five goals and one assist) for St. Joseph’s (1-3 overall) in non-conference. Diana Johnston added three goals.
