Samantha Breidenbach had 14 points, including four straight with just under four minutes left for host Adelphi in a 63-61 win over Le Moyne in a women's Northeast-10 basketball game Saturday.
With the score tied at 57 at the 4:32 mark, Breidenbach hit consecutive baskets to five Adelphi a 61-57 lead.
Ashley Caiasa led Adelphi (5-12) with 23 points and Amanda Campusano scored 12 points. Emily Dayly led Le Moyne (3-14, Northeast 10) with 19 points.
Suffolk CC-Selden 67, Queensborough CC 57:Kara Nenos scored 26 points and Ashley Drumgole added 17 and 11 rebounds to lead Suffolk CC (10-2) to first place in Region XV. Suffolk, ranked second in the NJCAA in team defense, can clinch at least a share of first place if it wins its final four Region XV games. Kiara Bryant scored 30 points for Queensborough (9-3, Region XV).
Vermont 68, Stony Brook 50:Kirsten Jeter and Sam Landers (Springfield, Va.) each scored 13 points for Stony Brook (1-9 America East). Tonya Young had 19 points and 15 rebounds for Vermont (3-7).
Mount Saint Mary 49, Farmingdale State 45:Jess Tice had 13 points and 14 rebounds and Charneic McCullough added 13 points to lead Mount Saint Mary (14-0) in Skyline. Kayla Koch had 15 points and nine rebounds for Farmingdale State (10-3).
Queens 72, Molloy 63:Chloe Johnson had 24 points, including six three-pointers, for Queens (8-7) in ECC. Delmara Reece had 13 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists for Molloy (6-9, ECC).
St. Thomas Aquinas 62, NYIT 52:Cierra Baker scored 19 points to lead NYIT (4-11 ECC). Bianca Kowgios scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds for St. Thomas Aquinas (113-2).

NYIT 74, St. Thomas Aquinas 63:Kayvon Roberts scored 19 points and had eight rebounds and four steals to lead NYIT (7-8) in the ECC. Justin Brown had 18 points and five rebounds for St. Thomas Aquinas (4-11, ECC).
USMMA 62, Juniata College 60:Matt Hueber had 21 points and 10 rebounds USMMA (17-4 Landmark Conference).Queens 65, Molloy 60:Lamonte Lans scored 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and had three steals for Queens College (12-3) in ECC play. Jimmy Nolan had 18 points for Molloy (7-8, ECC).

WRESTLING
Cornell 45, Hofstra 0:Steve Bonanno (Wantagh) dropped a 5-2 decision to Frank Perrelli of Cornell at 125 pounds, as Hofstra's five-match winning streak was snapped. Cornell (8-1) won all 10 matches, including four pins and a forfeit. The Pride is 9-4-1.
